Position:                        Food Service

Department/Program:    Head Start

Classification:                Hourly, Part Year/Full Time or Part Year/Part Time

Description:  Responsible for the implementation of service area as outlined in the Program Plans.

Qualifications:  High School diploma or GED.  Planning and organizational skills; mathematical skills; accurate record keeping and reporting skills; oral and written communication skills; ability to schedule and follow directions; ability to work without direct supervision; ability to relate to children and adults.

Job Requirement:  Work hours as assigned by Children Services Supervisor; initial Health Appraisal and required updates; criminal background check and child maltreatment check; initial TB test followed by one every year, first aid card, CPR card, and food handlers card.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employees occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hand, drive an automobile, talk, and hear.  The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 15 pounds.

Duty Station:    Marion County

Salary: $9.02 to $9.44 hour
