Responsible for providing clerical and programmatic support for the Children Services Supervisor and county staff. Under general supervision, performs a variety of complex, responsible, and confidential programmatic duties requiring a thorough knowledge of organizational procedures and precedents; provides program support to designated staff members, and performs related work as required.
High School Diploma or GED/TASC (Testing Assessing Secondary Completion), with additional college credits or related experience preferred.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, drive an automobile, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 15 pounds.
Typical work hours Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:00 p.m. unless 4 day/10 hour schedule is approved; overnight travel as needed; valid driver’s license; vehicle with adequate insurance coverage for on the job use; safe driving record; State and Federal Bureau of Investigation Criminal History Check; Sex Offender Registry Check; Protective Services Record Check; initial Health Assessment and required updates; prior to hire TB Risk Assessment or TB screening by Mantoux method; CPR/FA card and food handlers card.
Computer experience; above average computer, typing, spelling, and grammar skills; knowledge of office machines, practices, and procedures.
