Responsible for implementation of service areas as outlined in the Head Start Program Performance Standards; Parent, Family and Community Engagement Framework; and applicable program Policies and Procedures. Primary responsibilities include knowledge of child health requirements, implementation of individual family partnership agreements, provide support and referrals for families, and maintain a professional respectful attitude with parents, staff, and the community.

Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university in Human Development, Social Work, Child Development, Public Health, or related fields (Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, Human Services, or Criminal Justice).
Social Work License preferred.
Computer skills; experience in social work, case management, health, and home visiting or adult education; oral and written communication skills; accurate record keeping and reporting skills; knowledge of geographic area, agencies, and services.
Work hours as assigned by Children Services Supervisor; evening/weekend hours and overnight travel as needed; ability to travel from site to site providing own transportation; valid driver’s license; vehicle with adequate insurance coverage for on the job use; safe driving record; State and Federal Bureau of Investigation Criminal History Record Check; Sex Offender Registry Check; Protective Services Record Check; Initial Health Assessment and required updates; prior to hire TB Risk Assessment or TB screening by Mantoux method and thereafter as applicable; first aid card; CPR card; and food handlers card.
While performing the duties of this job, the employees occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, drive an automobile, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 15 lbs.
