The Supervisor is directly responsible for assuring the quality of services provided, coordinating day-to-day operations, recommending and implementing changes that would improve services of the HS/EHS programs; ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations as they relate to Head Start/Early Head Start; assuring that Agency policies are followed.
Exempt/Full Time
Bachelor's Degree from accredited college/university in Human Development, Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Child Development or related field. Documented supervisory experience required.
Good organization skills and administrative abilities. Good computer skills and accurate and timely record keeping and reporting skills.
Typical work hours Monday-Friday 8:00 - 4:00 p.m. unless 4 day/10-hour schedule is approved evening/weekend hours and overnight travel as needed; ability to travel from site to site providing own transportation. Valid driver's license; vehicle with adequate insurance coverage for on-the-job use; safe driving record; State and Federal Bureau of Investigation Criminal History Check; Sex Offender Registry Check; Protective Services Record Check; initial Health Assessment and required updates; prior to hire TB Risk Assessment or TB screening by Mantoux method; CPR/FA Card. Proof of COVID vaccination card required prior to hire.
Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, drive an automobile, talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 lbs.
