Efficient, neat, and safe performance of all jobs assigned for the Weatherization process. Responsible for the care and minor maintenance of assigned tools, equipment, and vehicles. Will work in accordance with state and federal guidelines and regulations.
High School Diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license. Accurate record keeping and reporting skills; oral and written communication skills; ability to follow detailed instructions; ability to work without direct supervision; ability to read, understand, and follow safety regulations.
Work hours as assigned by the Weatherization Coordinator; safe driving record; Criminal Background Check; Protective Services Record Check. Must be able to organize, communicate, work safely and efficiently under pressure. Attend all meetings/trainings to keep current on all federal/state/local codes, regulations, policies, and procedures. Basic computer skills.
While performing the duties of this job, employees are occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, crawl, use hands, drive an automobile, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds. This work will occasionally require work in tight spaces such as crawlspaces and attics.
