Community Service Assistant
Provide administrative assistance to CSBG program; essentially purchasing, procurement, requisitions, inventory, and payment of services for the CSBG program. Process emergency assistance services to individuals and families.
Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
Documented prior experience working in an office administrative role and environment assisting with the public.
While performing the duties of this job the employee occasionally is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, drive an automobile, listen & communicate verbally & in written form. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Be able to provide own transportation; carry adequate insurance coverage; Criminal Background Check; Protective Services Record Check. Ability to drive long distances. Must be willing to travel and attend required meetings.
The ability to successfully organize, communicate, and manage well under pressure. Excellent computer and clerical skills. Professional use of telephone skills, excellent computer skills, working knowledge of all types of office equipment, and the ability to work harmoniously with other employees. The desire to work toward the success of low-income families.
Valid Driver's License. Must obtain any certifications, licenses, or permits as required by the CSBG program.
