Position title
Community Case Manager 1

Provide administrative assistance to CSBG program; essentially purchasing, procurement, requisitions, inventory, and payment of services for the CSBG program. Provide client assistance through Emergency Assistance Program as well as Case Management services.


Minimum of high school diploma or GED with documented prior experience working in an office environment assisting with the public.

Job Responsibilities

Be able to provide own transportation; carry adequate insurance coverage; Criminal Background Check; Protective Services Record Check. Ability to drive long distances. Must be willing to travel and attend required meetings. The desire to work toward the success of low-income families.The ability to successfully organize, communicate, and manage well under pressure. Be a self-starter and aggressive team member. Excellent computer and clerical skills. Professional use of telephone skills, excellent computer skills, working knowledge of all types of office equipment, and the ability to work harmoniously with other employees.

Assist with compiling individual county/office mailings for any/all programs as necessary. Prepare and submit all necessary reports and other such documents as required by contracts and other such directives. Maintain adequate supply of forms required for daily operations of programs. Supportive Services for Veterans and Families-Provide comprehensive case management services to low-income veterans and families. Gather and evaluate participants information regarding employment history, housing situation, physical functioning, financial status, and other program specific criteria to determine eligibility for services.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employees occasionally are required to stand, walk, sit use hands, drive an automobile, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to twenty-five pounds.
