Weatherization Program Assistant Coordinator will direct and supervise the work of all Weatherization personnel under the direction of the Weatherization Coordinator. Will ensure that he agency Weatherization program follows all mandates established by the West Virginia Development Office Weatherization program and the U.S. Department of Energy. The Weatherization Program Assistant Coordinator is responsible for fiscal administration and support to department programs and services, in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements with attention to community needs. Coordinates the input and output of program data which consists of all client information, vendor bills, subcontractor invoices and program guidelines. This position supports the Weatherization Coordinator in all department activities within the BIL Program and the Weatherization Program.
High School Diploma or GED. Management and inventory control experience.

Develop work plans, schedules, and policies and procedures in compliance with agency and funding source requirements to ensure progress to goals. Assist the Weatherization Coordinator with Preparation, writing and organizing of proposal applications, progress reports, grants, and budgets. Adhere to agency policies and procedures. Enforce mandates of the Sate Weatherization Program. Possess a working knowledge of the U.S. Department of Energy regulations/policies, EPA guidelines, Safety Data Sheets, and OSHA Standards. Use effective communication while directing Weatherization staff. Act as Public Relations liaison for program. Prepare and follow a budget, management plan, and production schedule. Ensure work complies with program standards; ensure all work is accurately inspected. Monitor and track program activity in LIT software and maintain the system to prioritize eligible clients to make sure that households are served according to the existing priorities. Coordinate all program resources such as materials, vehicles, tools, equipment, warehousing, and personnel. Maintain purchase order and coding systems for purchases. Maintain inventory system for materials and tools. Maintain computer systems for client files and job information. Provide training and updates to the Auditor Control Inspectors who may need to complete their tasks along with remaining staff members. Learn and follow the DOE program regulations. The WV Program Operations Manual, and WV Weatherization Standards. Monitor ten counties for completeness of client files, field work, crew efficiency, crew safety procedures, inventory control and generating income for program. Plan the daily work schedule for crews. Monitor all agency completions. Research and evaluate new Weatherization products and techniques. Obtain annual bids on Cellulose, Mobile Home Replacement Windows and Doors, and other miscellaneous materials. Attend required agency/state meetings or trainings. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor, relating to the program.
Must be able to bend and crawl on knees or back at times. Can extend body to reach hard to get areas. Must stand, walk, sit, use hands, drive a vehicle, talk, hear, occasionally lift, and carry up to 50 pounds, climb 2 story ladders, and crawl under areas at least 18 inches high.
