Responsible for the system design, planning, guidance, support, and training, as well as the implementation and monitoring of Education/Disabilities services and assure compliance as outlined in the Head Start/Early Head Start Performance Standards, Head Start Act as well as other national and regional regulations and policies.
Bachelor’s degree (Master's Degree Preferred) from accredited college/university in Early Childhood, Child Development, or related field with experience in working with preschool children.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, drive an automobile, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
Typical work hours Monday-Friday 8:00 - 4:00 p.m. unless 4 day/10 hour schedule is approved; evening/weekend hours and overnight travel as needed; ability to travel from site to site providing own transportation; valid driver’s license; vehicle with adequate insurance coverage for on the job use; safe driving record; State and Federal Bureau of Investigation Criminal History Check; Sex Offender Registry Check; Protective Services Record Check; initial Health Assessment and required updates; prior to hire TB Risk Assessment or TB screening by Mantoux method. Proof of COVID vaccination card required prior to hire.
