Accountable to the Head Start/Early Head Start Children Services Director; responsible for assisting with planning, guidance, monitoring, and supervision of Head Start/Early Head Start Program and collaborations in each county operation; and assuring compliance as required by the Head Start Performance Standards, Head Start Act, as well as state, regional, and national regulations and policies.
Bachelor's degree from accredited college/university in Business Administration, Management, or related field. Supervisory experience required and Head Start/Early Head Start experience preferred.
Independent judgment to plan, train, evaluate, coordinate, organize, prioritize, problem solve, and manage; oral and written communication skills; self-motivated with ability to work without direct supervision; work under pressure and handle multiple tasks; computer skills to include internet research, email, accurate recordkeeping and reporting skills.
Typical work hours Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. unless 4 days/10 hours approved; evening/weekend hours and overnight travel as needed; valid driver's license; valid driving record; vehicle with adequate insurance coverage for on the job use; State and Federal Bureau of Investigation Criminal History Check; Sex Offender Registry Check; Protective Services Record Check; initial Health Assessment and required updates; prior to hire TB Risk Assessment or TB screening by Mantoux method and thereafter as applicable.
While performing duties of this job, the employee occasionally is required to stand, walk, sit use hands, drive an automobile, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
