Apartment Introduction

We take pride in our management and in our community apartments. We actively seek good residents to make their home with us, and we strive to provide the best services we possibly can while they live at NCWVCAA apartments. We screen our applicants very carefully, and we verify all information provided to us on the rental application and from other sources available to us. We will verify employment, utility history, and rental history. A criminal background check and credit report are also required.

The screening and verification process is used for every applicant the same way—fairly, consistently, and uniformly. We work every diligently to observe both the spirit and the letter of the fair housing laws—not just because they are the law of the land, but because we sincerely believe, personally and as a company, in fair housing and equal opportunity for everyone.

An applicant who passes the eligibility process will be notified in writing, when a suitable apartment becomes available. An applicant who does not meet the eligibility guidelines will not be considered as a potential tenant. By making an application for an apartment at NCWVCAA apartments, you acknowledge that these checks and verifications will be completed, and give your permission for us to do so. Eligible applicants chosen to become tenants will be required to submit a security deposit and key deposit prior to becoming a NCWVCAA Apartments tenant.

Please completely fill in your application. If you do not provide us with complete information, we will be unable to process the application successfully. If there is any item on the application that you do not understand, please ask for assistance from the manager. If there is additional information that you feel might be of assistance to us in processing your application, please let us know. We are here to be of service to you and to others seeking housing.

Please sign and date this letter where indicated below, and give it to the manager. The manager can provide you with a copy for your files. Thank you for making an application to NCWVCAA apartments. We will do our best to process your application quickly make a determination within a reasonable time. We sincerely hope that you will be a long- term resident with us.

North Central West Virginia Community Action Association, Inc., is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families reach their highest levels of social and economic independence, while assisting communities to become stronger partners.

 

Collaborating with local, state, and national agencies, we provide a broad range of direct anti-poverty services for moderate to low-income customers and their communities.  We maintain an on-going commitment to reduce the effects of poverty and to empower individuals, families, and communities to meet the challenges of today and the changes of tomorrow.

  4. Funds and services shall be expended according to Federal and State Rules and Regulations, and Agency Policies.
  5. All customers’ information shall be kept confidential. When a customer provides us with personal information, we will not share that information with any external organization unless we are required to by our funding sources or by law, or with the customer’s written permission.  NCWVCAA has the highest regard for customer privacy.
  6. Complaints will be addressed and resolved promptly.
